Like it or not, MLM isn't going anywhere

10:53 PM
Network marketing has been around for a VERY long time. Unfortunately, with the advent of the internet, how it's done needs to be updated.

And there ARE some pioneers out there who are forging new territory, like Steve Larsen with his "MLM Hacks."

It's a revolutionary concept to me...and I'm glad to see there are finally people out there who are DOING IT.

Because Sales Funnels are for selling...and network marketers are supposed to sell. It makes SO much sense to be selling with funnels.

Because even a CRAPPY funnel sells stuff like crazy.

Get Your Free Pass To The Funnel Hacking Telethon!

2:30 PM
Save the date-October 30th-for this free telethon of never-before-told funnel hacking stories! These stories should be hilarious, considering the first one I heard was amazing-he built a funnel selling instructions for how to put together a potato gun out of every day items that you could get at the hardware store, like PVC pipe. Then he came up with an idea for an upsell--he sold a kit on top of that, for about $150. I think he had several different offers in that funnel. Anyway, this Telethon is going to be on October 30. And I'm "all in!" How about you?

Funnel hacking isn't just an activity. It's  MOVEMENT. Find out what the buzz is about.

Have a great day!

So here are the things on the schedule for today...

1:04 PM
I just watched a webinar on "manychat" by "The Goal Digger Girl." Manychat is a platform for using in facebook messenger. The open rates on manychat messages are in sane. Manychat - or Chatfuel - are great platforms for marketers who want to keep in touch with their audience. You can do so many things in it.

The expert on Manychat is Nico Moreno. And his bots are relentless in their pursuit of the sale, to the point where I've seen people COMPLAIN ABOUT IT. I'm still figuring out what I want my bots to do, as I figure out my "voice" and what messaging I want to convey. It all feels kind of fluid, like I'm in a big ocean and being moved around by the currents. Part of this might be the 'shiny object syndrome."

I have an experimental page called "FB Messenger Bot Builder." Here is the link for my bot on that page.

Other things I need to do today are:

Week 2, Lesson 2, in the One Funnel Away Challenge. The assignment for today is - creating an "Epiphany Bridge." There are videos to watch and a handout to fill out.

***

I was catching up with Rachel Miller yesterday - she's "the Moolah Marketer" on facebook. I had to click off a webinar replay because I had to get going. Today I need to work for a few hours before I pick up the dog...so I have to squeeze things in, when I get the time, or when I can make the time.

***

I also was trying to catch up with messaging from the youtube/video expert, Marley Baird, from Marley Baird Media. She is a genius with video, and how to get your message out there using youtube. Here's her youtube channel, too. Check it out.

***

I added a theme and a logo to this blog, and will be tweaking it as time allows.

***

I will add more links later, gotta go now, 'bye.

Reluctantly, I made a commitment to Russell Brunson...

11:01 PM
I agreed to publish every day for 365 days, "to find my voice." I know, I'm outta my mind.  After years of being away from blogging, and not having to THINK about a blog! The choices were - podcasting, creating video on youtube, and doing facebook lives. I wasn't thrilled about the last three, and returning to blogging seemed to be the easiest option. I've always had a flair for writing, the others, although possible, would be difficult to do every day for a year.

One of the questions they were asking repeatedly was "do you get dressed every day?" and "are you camera-ready?" lol...

...So here I am again.

Currently, I am involved in Click Funnels' 30 Days Summit and subsequent "One Funnel Away Challenge." The book pictured, is the book that came several weeks after I signed on for this. Initially, there were 30 two-comma winners (people who were given two-comma awards for having built funnels that earned over $1,000,000) who were asked the question: "You suddenly Lose Everything...what would you do in 30 days to get yourself back on top?" (Something like that.)  In the members area of 30 Days, Brunson has interviews with all 30 two-comma club participants, and pdf's of their 30-day plans. (The 30 Day Summit is now closed. But you can get on the waiting list, if you're interested.)

But Brunson didn't stop there. He provided a lot of value with those interviews and plans, but he over-delivered. (That's just the way he does things!)

In mid-October, after we had been through most of the 30 participants' interviews and plans, the One Funnel Away Challenge began. This involves tasks assigned to us every day, and we are in the midst of offer creation and creating our sales funnels.

It is labor-intensive, particularly since we all have lives. And in some cases, clients. And jobs. So it will be interesting how it all shapes up.
